Terms of Service

Last updated: [TO COMPLETE]

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TwinCard website and apps, and every purchase made on them. By creating an account or using TwinCard, you accept these terms.

TwinCard is operated by [TO COMPLETE: company name, legal form, registration number], located at Rue Pierre Brossolette, 93160 Noisy-le-Grand, France.

Nature of the service. TwinCard sells collectible trading cards, packaged in booster packs whose content is random, in the same way as sealed booster packs sold in stores. Every booster pack always contains 10 real, physical cards, which become yours and can be delivered to you. TwinCard is a sale of collectible goods, not a game of chance: there is no money prize, and keys, cards and TwinPoints can never be converted into money, withdrawn or bought back by TwinCard for money.

2. Who can use TwinCard

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases. TwinCard may not be available in every country; draws paid with keys may be blocked in countries where they are not allowed.

3. Your account

Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. Never share your password with anyone: TwinCard staff will never ask you for it.

TwinCard cannot be held responsible for the loss of your account, keys or cards if you shared your login details with a third party.

If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password immediately and contact us.

4. Account trading

Buying, selling, renting or exchanging TwinCard accounts is strictly prohibited. Any account involved in such a transaction may be suspended or permanently closed, without refund of unused keys.

5. Keys

Keys are purchased in the Shop. One key opens one booster pack. Prices are shown in euros, including VAT.

Keys are non-refundable once used and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another account.

To protect players and our stock, TwinCard may limit the number of keys that can be bought per week; any limit is shown in the Shop before purchase. You can also set a personal spending limit in your Settings: a lower limit applies at once, a higher limit only after 7 days.

5 bis. TwinPoints

TwinPoints are earned only by burning cards from your inventory. They cannot be bought with money, have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be transferred to another account. They can only be used in the TwinPoints Shop.

Burning a card is final: the card is removed from your inventory and returns to TwinCard's stock. High-rarity cards are locked by default and must be unlocked, then confirmed, before they can be burned.

6. Draws and drop rates

Every draw is random. Drop rates are fixed, public and available on the Drop rates page. A booster pack opened with a key contains 10 cards, including one guaranteed Rare or better; a free draw gives a single card. Drop rates are the same for every player: they are never changed by the amount spent, subscriptions or achievements.

Draws are "provably fair": before each draw, TwinCard commits to a secret value by publishing its fingerprint (hash). After the draw, this value is revealed so you can check that the result was not changed. You can verify any of your past draws from your draw history.

The drop rates shown before your purchase are the ones applied to your draw. TwinCard may change the drop rates for future draws only; changes are announced in advance, and the history of previous rates stays available on the Drop rates page.

If a rarity is about to run out of stock, TwinCard pauses the sale of the boosters concerned rather than changing their drop rates.

7. Free draws

Each account receives a limited number of free draws per day, at midnight (Paris time). Unused free draws are kept for up to 3 days; beyond that, the oldest ones are lost. You don't need to log in every day. Using several accounts to get more free draws is prohibited.

8. Your cards

Every card you pull corresponds to a real, physical card held in TwinCard's secure storage. Each card's condition is checked before it is stored.

Storage limits. Storage is free, within two limits that depend on how each card was obtained:

A card keeps its origin (free or paid) when it is exchanged with another player.

When a limit is reached, you can still open the keys you bought and use your free draws: new cards go to a temporary overflow area. You then have 30 days to make room by delivering or burning cards. Until you are back under the limit, buying keys and exchanging cards are paused. TwinCard never burns or removes your cards without your action.

9. Delivery

You can request delivery of your cards at any time from the Delivery page. Once a card has been shipped, it is removed from your TwinCard inventory and can no longer be exchanged or transferred.

Several parcels in one request. A parcel contains up to 159 cards. When you request more cards than fit in one parcel, TwinCard splits your request automatically, filling each parcel as much as possible (only the last parcel can be partly filled). The first parcel is charged at the normal delivery fee; every additional parcel of the same request gets -30%. This discount adds to the Premium benefits (see section 10). It applies to shipping fees only: optional services such as insurance remain charged at their usual price.

For security reasons, high-value cards may be shipped in separate tracked parcels, with a signature on delivery. This does not change the fees shown before you confirm your request.

Delivery fees, delivery times and shipping countries: [TO COMPLETE].

10. Subscriptions

TwinCard Plus and TwinCard Premium are monthly subscriptions, renewed automatically until you cancel them. You can cancel at any time from your Settings; the subscription stays active until the end of the current month.

Free delivery (TwinCard Premium):

Storage bonus (TwinCard Premium): subscribing to Premium raises your free-card storage from 200 to 300 cards (see section 8). This bonus is permanent: you keep it even after the subscription ends.

TwinCard may change the subscription benefits; active subscribers are informed in advance, and the change applies from the next billing period.

11. Right of withdrawal

[DRAFT, to be checked during a legal consultation.]

12. Prohibited behaviour

You must not:

Breaking these rules may lead to the suspension or closure of your account.

13. Liability

TwinCard does its best to keep the service available and secure, but cannot guarantee that it will run without interruption. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.

14. End of the service

If TwinCard ever decides to stop its activity, you will be informed by email and on the website at least [TO COMPLETE: e.g. 30] days in advance. From that date:

You will receive several reminders by email before the end of this period. Cards that have not been claimed by the end of this period will be considered abandoned, and the accounts will be closed.

15. Trademarks

All trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners. TwinCard is not affiliated with or endorsed by those owners.

16. Changes to these terms

TwinCard may update these terms. You will be informed of any important change before it applies.

17. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, please contact us first so we can find a solution together. You may also use a consumer mediator: [TO COMPLETE: mediator name and contact].
